I generally decline collaborations that:
- fall substantially outside my methodological preparation;
- require me to make substantive or theoretical decisions that properly belong to domain experts;
- involve methodological participation only after major design or measurement decisions are fixed;
- do not allow sufficient time for careful and responsible work.
